WasteBid Announces Marketing Agreement with FleetRoute Software

WasteBid.com, Inc. (WasteBid) announced today that it has reached an agreement that provides for WasteBid to be the exclusive North American licensee of the CIVIX FleetRoute route optimization software for private sector clients.

In announcing this new agreement, Mr. Robert Brickner, Chief Operating Officer of WasteBid, stated, "WasteBid was founded almost three years ago to offer innovative solid waste management solutions using the Internet and other software applications. The FleetRoute affiliation provides WasteBid with the opportunity to offer services to the same private sector clients that are engaged in the solid waste collection business where route optimization is critical."

CIVIX LLC, a Delaware company whose President has developed the routing software over several years, is currently working with WasteBid staff on several different collection vehicle routing projects. The President of CIVIX, Dr. Paul Patterson, stated, "The WasteBid/CIVIX team combines the strengths of the advanced route optimization tools of FleetRoute with the analysis and operations consulting of an innovative firm with knowledge of the nuances and requirements of private sector waste collection practices."

Mr. Brickner indicated that, "Although other firms have developed in-house routing applications over the past ten years, the opportunity to work with such an advanced routing software package as FleetRoute is in line with the niche WasteBid wants to pursue with the private sector collectors to help control and reduce costs for the marketplace.
